1968 – Graduated as mining engineer-geologist (prospecting and exploration of rare-metal and radioactive metals deposits) from the Moscow Geological-Prospecting Institute:
Main scientific interests
Mineralogy and chemistry of sulfides. Stability, mineral assemblages, structural-textural features of ores of hydrothermal deposits. Mineral-forming processes in epithermal, mesothermal and modern submarine hydrothermal systems. Genesis of hydrothermal deposits of non-ferrous and noble metals. Sources of ore-forming fluids and their components. Last 5 years were spent in studies of mineralogy, fluid inclusions, partition of elements and isotopes among coexisting minerals, mineral parageneses and succession of ore formation.
