WORK PLAN:

The principal elements of the work plan are given in the main body of the proposal. These include:

a) Organization: establishment of Working Groups and election of office-bearers (on regional or on thematic basis); establishment of email listserver and webpage; preparation of annual meetings and workshops; preparation of annual reports; coordination with other IGCP and non-IGCP projects.

b) Outlines of the main avenues in investigations of order and methods of solution; choice of model objects and regions to be investigated.

c) Annual meetings and/or workshops, including those within the framework of other international scientific events – congresses, symposia, etc.

d) Young scientists recruiting and training, in particular scientists from less-developed countries.

e) Promotion of fundamental research results obtained in the course of work of the Project into applied sciences and technology and to society benefit.

f) Publication of scientific results as papers in reviewed international journals and issues; publication of abstracts of symposia; a special website is to be allocated to abstracts and posters. Publication of principal results of the project as a special issue of an international journal. Final publication as a collected papers or a final monograph (2009).
